This is exactly where RD-Repairstore's work comes in. Alongside classic repairs, our particular focus is on fault diagnosis, micro-soldering and repairs at board and component level.

This is where RD-Repairstore's particular specialization begins.

With suitable measurement technology and microscopy, even very small electronic components, traces and solder joints can be examined and worked on.

Depending on the damage, this can include, for example:

  • Repair of damaged traces
  • Renewing or repairing solder joints

Replacing an entire assembly isn't always the only option.

If, for example, only a single component on a board is defective, a component-level repair can in some cases be significantly more sensible than replacing the entire board.

This not only saves resources but can also reduce repair costs – provided a repair is technically sound and economically justifiable.

That said: not every kind of damage can be repaired. If a repair is not technically reliable or not economically sensible, we say so openly.

Power surges or a faulty power supply can damage electronic components and boards.

With this kind of damage, a thorough examination is especially important, since the visible damage doesn't necessarily represent the actual cause of the fault.

Sustainability

Repair sustainably instead of replacing unnecessarily.

A repair can be more than just restoring a single device.

When a fault can be fixed in a targeted way, entire assemblies or whole devices don't necessarily need to be replaced. This allows working components to be preserved and unnecessary electronic waste to be avoided.

Our aim: preserve as much as is technically sound – and only replace what's actually defective.

Not every fault is automatically repairable.

That's why we first examine the fault pattern and the technical possibilities. If it becomes clear before or during the diagnosis that a repair isn't sensible, not reliably possible, or not economically justifiable, we communicate this openly.

That way you know where you stand before any unnecessary costs arise.
