Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions asked most often before a repair. If anything is left open, just send a request.
Which devices are repaired?
Smartphones, tablets, laptops and MacBooks, computers, game consoles, accessories and circuit boards. You will find an overview on the “Services” page.
What does board-level repair mean?
Instead of replacing a whole assembly, the work is done directly on the board: chip replacement, reballing (BGA) and trace repair under the microscope.
Can I request a quote in advance?
Yes. Describe the device and the fault using the contact form – photos of the damage help. Requests by phone or in the workshop are possible too.
Will my data be preserved?
The goal is always a repair without data loss. With defective memory or severe damage this cannot be guaranteed technically. Please back up your data while the device still starts.
How does a diagnosis work?
The device is inspected and the cause of the fault is analysed. The diagnosis costs 59 € and is credited against a subsequent repair.
When do I learn the price?
After the inspection you receive a transparent cost overview. Only then do you decide. Flat rates for standard repairs are listed on the “Prices” page.
What happens if a repair is not possible?
Then I say so openly and discuss the remaining options with you. Nothing is repaired or charged without your approval.
Can I ship my device?
Yes, shipping within Germany is possible. The process is described on the “Shipping & sending in” page.
How does sending in work?
You send a request first, ship the device safely packed with a fault description, receive a cost overview after the diagnosis and get the device back after the repair – return shipping or pickup as agreed.
Is there a warranty?
Repairs come with statutory warranty. What is covered in an individual case depends on the device and the repair and is discussed beforehand; the terms and conditions apply in addition.
Question not covered?
Describe your device and the fault – you will get an honest assessment.
